such a fun couple to spend an evening with! {can't you tell?!} these two are so sweet together and throw their dogs in the mix and you get a bunch of fun! {two of the most amazingly trained dogs i have ever seen...& super sweet!}.

thursday

i had a great experience last thursday morning! i got to meet up with jenna cole in arlington for a bit of a shadowing/mentoring session. i contacted her a while back asking if she would ever be interested in allowing me to shadow her and to my surprise she answered me back and she said she was! yay! so my good friend vickie {mama of this "country girl"} woke up extra early and got all dolled up to be our model. she is so gorgeous! i learned so much and had such a great time. jenna was amazing and i instantly felt like i had known her forever. she answered so many questions i had and i learned tons just by watching her shoot and her interaction with vickie! i think it's awesome when i find a new photography friend. anyway, here are a few of my shots:

i got to meet up with the sweetest family this past weekend. they came out and braved the heat with me, and i think we got some great shots of them together...i mean, i can feel the love!

isn't their little one the absolute cutest?! he did so well and was such a happy little guy!

yep, it's official...my nine month old son is now crawling....all.over.the.place! so long to life as we know it...i am now going to be chasing after two kids! it is so fun to watch him crawl around and be able to get to things he is interested in. he is most definitely curious and loves to follow around his big sister. he is continually trying to get into her toys, which she firmly tells him "no, you can't have that!" such a good big sister. i have told her why he can't play with her toys {most are too small}, and she will search through bins and bins trying to find one that is safe to give him, asking me to approve them one by one. so sweet that she loves to protect him and share with him {and boss him...it must be the woman in her!}

yep, photoshoots with this one are going to be a challenge now...he crawled away from me the entire 10 minutes...
super excited about the weekend. i have several shoots so will have lots to share with ya'll next week!
