i always treasure the experience of photographing a newborn! such a special time to share with a family welcoming their new baby; whether it's their first, second, third, etc. there is always a sweet excitement about the new addition to their family. i especially love when these newborns belong to old friends of mine; i absolutely LOVE that through my photography i get the opportunity to catch up with friends from middle school and high school! meeting their precious families is so special and always a treat! my friend megan welcomed her third baby; molly rose this past december and i was thrilled when she called me to photograph her sweet girl! here are a few of my favorites from her newborn session.

right before Christmas i had the absolute pleasure of shooting my niece's fabulous wedding. she is such a sweet girl and i am so happy she has found her true love and they are starting their life together! i have watched these two grow up and have seen their relationship grow and their commitment to each other tested by time and distance. they are meant to be and it was truly wonderful watching them tie the knot...yes, i got a little lot emotional. i am definitely not a wedding photographer {much respect to all of you out there!}, but had a blast capturing their special day and their beautiful love. i wanted to highlight my favorite photos from their beautiful evening; it was a vert special event!

catching up...& one precious baby boy

it has been a busy few months full of time with my children, trips, and loads of photos! just wanted to share one from a newborn session this past weekend. he was the best baby and made my job so easy! & yes, he is the baby boy of yet another RHS grad, class of '98! love all the support i get from all my old buddies! congrats krista & vince! he is amazing!
